A lot of travel prizes are a contribution towards a trip rather than the trip itself. You win the flights and pay for the hotel. You win the hotel and sort out the transfers yourself.
This one covers the whole thing, and the conditions that do apply are written down rather than buried. Here is exactly what is in it.
What the winner gets
Return economy flights for two adults, from your nearest Australian capital city to Denpasar.
Five nights for two at a four or five star hotel in Bali, twin share, one room.
Private return airport transfers in Bali. The stretch between Denpasar airport and wherever you are staying can take an hour in traffic, and it is the worst possible moment to be negotiating a fare. Someone will be waiting with your name on a card.

What we would do with five nights
Five nights is an awkward number for Bali if you try to see everything, and a very good number if you do not.
The mistake most first timers make is splitting the trip three ways: a night in Seminyak, two in Ubud, two more chasing somewhere quieter. You spend a good part of your holiday in a car. Bali is small on a map and slow on the road, and an hour between two points is normal.
The $1,000 goes a long way once your room and flights are covered. That is dinner somewhere memorable more than once, a driver for a full day, a spa afternoon, and still change for the things you did not plan.

The dates
Entries close at 5:00pm AEST on Tuesday 1 September 2026, and the draw happens at 7:00pm AEST the same evening.
The winner is drawn using a cryptographically secure random number generator, and a snapshot of every eligible entry is taken and hashed at the close time so the draw can be independently verified. We publish the winner's first name, surname initial and state on the draw page within 48 hours.
How members are entered
Regular and Seasoned members are entered automatically.
Regular members receive one entry for every month of membership commenced. Seasoned members receive five. Entries accumulate the longer you stay, and they roll into every draw while your membership is active, not just this one. Founding members receive double. Entries are capped at 100 per member per draw.
Members on the free Tourist tier are not included in the draw. If you are on Tourist and want in, switching to Regular takes about a minute and your first month is free, which also puts $10 of hotel credit in your account straight away.
Full eligibility criteria and the competition terms are on the draw page. The promotion is open to Australian residents aged 18 and over, excluding the ACT and WA.
