Why Our Rates Are Members-Only
The lowest hotel rates come from something the industry calls a Closed User Group (CUG). Hotels and accommodation suppliers release discounted rates on one condition: they can only be shown to a logged-in, closed group of members, never on the open web.
That condition protects the hotel's public, advertised price while still quietly filling rooms. It is also why you sign in to see the real number, and why member rates cannot appear in public search results. The licence that releases the rate requires it. No closed group, no discount.
The saving comes from two places: cutting the 15 to 18 percent commission the big booking platforms add, and the closed-group rate being set lower to begin with. The hotel still receives what it agreed to. The difference is simply who was taking the margin, and whether you were inside the group the rate was released to.

Common Questions
Do I need to be a paid member to book travel?
No. The free Tourist preview can browse and book at member rates, just at our smallest discount. Club Pass members book at member rates generally below the retail rate, Club Pass+ members get our biggest discounts, and both go into the membership prize draws open to their state. Club Pass members get a $10 one-off hotel credit when they join; Club Pass+ members get a $15 hotel credit every month.
How are draw winners selected?
Entries close at the published time. At that moment every eligible entry is recorded and hashed, and the winner is drawn at random from that record at the published draw time. Each result has a signed certificate.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?
Yes! You can upgrade anytime (takes effect immediately) or downgrade at the end of your billing period. Manage everything from your dashboard.
Do I get value even between draws?
Yes. You book at your tier's member rates, which are generally below the retail rate. Plus your entries accumulate over time, so you hold more entries in each later draw open to your state.
