Club Ambassadors

Your Ambassador Welcome Kit

Everything you need to share BookingClub and earn recurring commission: how the program works, the rules that protect you, talking points and what the earnings look like.

Scroll down to read the details.

01 · How it works

One link. 20% of every subscription. Recurring.

You share your referral link. When someone signs up for a paid membership through that link, you earn 20% of their net subscription revenue every month they stay subscribed. Not a one-off bonus: recurring income that compounds as you add more referrals.

Your link, your stats and your payouts all live in your ambassador portal at bookingclub.com.au/portal. Payouts run monthly, 30 days in arrears. Minimum payout threshold is $50.

02 · What you are sharing

A travel club with a monthly prize draw

BookingClub is a members-only travel club for Australians. Members get hotel rates the public does not see. Regular and Seasoned members also go into a monthly travel prize draw, currently a $4,950 trip to Bali for two, drawn 1 September 2026.

Membership starts free at the Tourist tier. Paid tiers (Regular at $24/month, Seasoned at $49/month) unlock bigger hotel discounts, draw entries and hotel sale alerts.

Both are real selling points. Talk about the hotel rates. Talk about the draw. Just make sure your audience understands they are joining a travel club that includes a prize draw, not a lottery.

03 · Getting started

Five steps to your first post

  1. Join right on this page (the form is at the bottom): your referral link appears on screen the moment you sign up. No payout details needed.
  2. Copy your link. Payout details can wait: add your PayPal email in your portal settings any time before your first payout.
  3. Add it to your bio, your Linktree, your link-in-bio tool, wherever your audience clicks through.
  4. Post about BookingClub using your own voice, your own content, your own format. We do not provide templates because your audience follows you for the way you talk, not the way we write.
  5. Always include #affiliate or #partner on every post. This is a legal requirement under ACMA and ACCC guidelines, not optional.

04 · Content that converts

Join free. Show, don't tell.

The best ambassador content comes from inside the club, and you're already in: the moment you join the program, we create your free Tourist member account automatically. Check your inbox for a welcome email and a set-your-password link, then make your content from real things you find. One note: if you ever upgrade to a paid tier, do it directly, not through your own referral link, since self-referrals are voided.

  • Rate screenshots. Search a hotel you actually know on the booking page, and screenshot the member rate next to the public price for the same room and dates. Real, unedited and dated: nothing sells the club harder.
  • Your travel map. Build yours at bookingclub.com.au/travelmap and share the card straight to your socials. It's designed for posting, and your audience will want their own.
  • The live draw. The current draw page with its countdown makes a great story frame. Membership first, as always.

05 · Stay compliant

Four rules to keep it clean

Rule 1: Always disclose.

Every post, every story, every video, every caption. #affiliate or #partner, visible, not buried. Australian law (ACMA/ACCC). Not optional.

Rule 2: Travel club first, draw second.

You can absolutely hype the draw. A $4,950 Bali trip is exciting and your audience should know about it. Just make sure every post also mentions what members actually get: member hotel rates and the membership. "Members get hotel rates plus a monthly travel draw. This month it's a $4,950 Bali trip" is great. "Win a trip to Bali, just sign up!" is not, because that makes it sound like a lottery entry, not a travel membership.

Rule 3: Keep the facts straight.

Say "member rates" not "wholesale". The prize is $4,950, not "nearly five grand" or "and more". The free tier does not include draw entries, and never talk up anyone's chances of winning. Do not run your own giveaway using your referral link or repost the draw as your own competition, and no paid ads using the BookingClub brand without written approval. When you are unsure about a claim, email us before posting.

Rule 4: Be yourself!

We picked you because we love your style. Post as you normally would, as much or as little as you like. Use your own voice, your own energy, your own format. No scripts, no templates, no corporate tone.

06 · Talking points

What your audience will ask

What is BookingClub?

Australia's members-only travel club. Members get hotel rates the public does not see, plus Regular and Seasoned members go into a monthly travel prize draw.

What does it cost?

Tourist is free and includes member hotel rates. Regular is $24/month (or $240/year) and adds bigger discounts, one draw entry per month and hotel sale alerts. Seasoned is $49/month (or $490/year) and adds our biggest discounts on hotels, five draw entries per month and an ad-free experience.

What are the prize draws?

A travel prize draw every month. The first is a $4,950 trip to Bali for two, drawn 1 September 2026. Entries come with Regular and Seasoned membership, and they accumulate the longer someone stays a member.

Who is it for?

Any Australian who books hotels, whether domestic weekends or international trips. The member rates cover hotels, resorts and stays worldwide.

How do I get paid as an ambassador?

Your link tracks every signup. You earn 20% of each referred member's net subscription revenue each month, paid 30 days in arrears. Stats and payouts are all in your portal.

07 · Earnings

What 20% recurring could look like

Commission repeats every month for as long as your referred members stay subscribed. Here is what 20% looks like at each paid tier.

Regular tier ($24/month)

Referred membersMonthly commissionAnnual commission
5$24$288
10$48$576
25$120$1,440
50$240$2,880
100$480$5,760

Seasoned tier ($49/month)

Referred membersMonthly commissionAnnual commission
5$49$588
10$98$1,176
25$245$2,940
50$490$5,880
100$980$11,760

Illustrative only. Commission is calculated on net subscription revenue (excluding GST and processing fees), so actual figures vary with your referrals' tiers and how long they stay subscribed. No targets, no lock-in. Share as much or as little as you like.

08 · Timing

Start before the first draw

BookingClub is open to the public. The first draw is drawn on 1 September 2026.

The earlier you start sharing, the more recurring referrals you build before the first draw drives attention to the platform.
