Club Ambassador Program Terms

Effective 9 July 2026. Creating an ambassador account in the ambassador portal constitutes acceptance of these terms.

1. The program

The Club Ambassador program is operated by Booking Club Pty Ltd (ABN 89 699 101 025) ("BookingClub", "we", "us"). Ambassadors promote BookingClub membership using a unique referral link issued through our ambassador portal and earn commission on the paid subscriptions they refer.

2. Commission

Commission is 20% of net subscription revenue (excluding GST, processing fees and travel booking revenue) from each member you refer, recurring for the life of that member's continuous subscription while you remain an ambassador in good standing. Commission ends if the member's subscription lapses or your ambassador account is closed.

3. Payouts

Payouts run monthly in arrears: commissions for a given month are paid out from 30 days after that month ends, with a minimum payout threshold of $50 AUD (smaller balances roll over). Refunded or charged-back subscriptions are clawed back from the next payout.

4. Attribution

One attribution per acquisition. Your ambassador link takes precedence over a member referral link on the same signup. Self-referrals and same-payment-method signups are detected and voided. Referral tracking uses a 60-day cookie from the click of your link.

5. Eligibility

The program is open to Australian residents at launch. An ABN is required for payment; without one, payments may be subject to withholding at the top rate as required by tax law. You are responsible for your own tax obligations on commission earned.

6. Content rules

  • Always disclose the commercial relationship: include #affiliate or #partner (visible, not buried) on any content carrying your referral link, per ACMA and ACCC guidance.
  • Keep claims accurate: describe pricing as "member rates" or similar, never "wholesale" or "the rates travel agents get", and never make income claims about the program.
  • No paid advertising using the BookingClub brand without our written approval.

7. Promoting the prize draws

Our monthly draws are regulated trade promotions. When your content mentions them, you must follow these rules:

  1. Membership first, draw second. You are promoting a travel club membership that includes draw entries as a benefit. Never present the draw as the product, and never frame joining as "paying for a chance to win".
  2. No odds talk. Do not state or imply anyone's chances of winning, including phrases like "great odds", "easy win" or "hardly anyone has entered".
  3. No eligibility promises. Entries come with paid tiers only, entrants must be 18 or over, and state or territory rules may exclude some members. Refer your audience to the Competition Terms instead of promising entry.
  4. State the prize exactly. Use the current prize name and value as published by us. No rounding up, no invented extras, no cash alternatives.
  5. No piggyback competitions. Do not run your own giveaway, prize split or contest involving our draws or prizes.

If content breaches these rules, we may require its immediate removal, withhold commission earned from it, and suspend or terminate your ambassadorship. If you are unsure whether something is okay to post, ask us first: concierge@bookingclub.com.au.

8. Changes and termination

We may modify these terms with notice; changes apply prospectively and never to commission already earned. Either party may end the ambassadorship at any time; accrued, unclawed-back commission above the payout threshold is paid out in the normal payout cycle.
